Yachting Holidays on the Norfolk Broads

Yacht Star Guide

There is only so much web space available within which to describe a yacht with words and a simply picture, and of course peoples perceptions can differ widely. As part of our duty of care to you, we aim to ensure that we never knowingly over-promise or under-deliver with our yachts, and to this end we have rated them according to the table bellow. Please remember that this guide aims to highlight the overall type of boat, to enable you to pick at a glance the yacht that best suits your needs, and the star number is not an indication of quality. As always, if you unsure of anything please call or email us with a specific query, it is what we are here for and we are always on hand to help.

An older or traditional Broads yacht, equipped in a basic no frills fashion, of most appeal to the purist.

A family yacht, of manageable sailing qualities, with most usual yacht domestic equipment.

A tastefully restored wooden yacht, or modern yacht of a traditional style, equipped in a basic fashion, but with an emphasis on sailing performance.

A modern traditionally styled yacht, designed to both sail well and provide for all usual comforts afloat.

A new or recently constructed yacht, built to the very highest standards, provided with every comfort afloat and designed to satisfy the seasoned Broads sailor.
