Lapwing - Cockpit Furnishings

The main bulkhead is installed with offset entrance into the cabin. The cockpit is fitted out with solid mahogany locker tops and the floor raised to a level which ensures excellent visibility over the height of the roof. The rudder tube is installed, (near view) supported at the top by a substantial oak cross beam which also forms the forward extremity of the mainsheet well, comfortably aft of and clear from the helm position.
